Analytics History

The amount of historical analytics data available depends on your subscription plan:

  • Free Plan: no analytics support
  • Starter Plan: 2 months of history
  • Creator Plan: 6 months of history
  • Professional Plan: 12 months of history
  • Agency Plan: Unlimited history
All analytics queries enforce the history limit for your plan. Requests for data outside your plan's history window will be automatically adjusted to the earliest available date.

Getting Started

  1. Connect your accounts: Make sure you have social accounts connected in Postpone
  2. Post content: Analytics are generated for published posts
  3. Choose a query: Select the analytics query that matches your needs
  4. Set time range: Specify your desired start and end dates
  5. Request metrics: Specify which metrics you want to retrieve

Best Practices

Optimize Query Performance

  • Request only the metrics you need
  • Use appropriate time ranges for your use case
  • Cache results when possible to reduce API calls
  • Use pagination for large result sets

Data Freshness

Analytics data is updated every 4-12 hours depending on the platform, except for X/Twitter, where data is updated twice (2 days and 7 days after post submission).

Additionally, all platforms except for X/Twitter include posts submitted from outside of Postpone in Analytics. For X/Twitter, only posts submitted using Postpone are included in Analytics.
